4. Private: this sets the item to be totally private so only you can view it.

2. How do I change the privacy settings of my myfantasyband.com profile?

You can set different privacy options for individual items on your myfantasyband.com profile such as the description, influences and location.

To set privacy options for any of the items in your myfantasyband.com profile:

1. Go to your Profile page.
2. Under your profile photo, you will see the option to 'Edit Profile'. Select this option.
3. On the Edit Profile page, you can use the pull-down menu under each item to select a privacy setting for that item.

3. How do I change the privacy settings of my myfantasyband.com music and video player widgets?

You can individually set different privacy options for each of the widgets on your myfantasyband.com profile.

For example, your Pandora Stations widget could be viewable only by friends while your Bandcamp Album widget is publicly viewable.

To set privacy options for any of the widgets on your Profile:

1. Click the Settings Gear icon for the widget.
2. Use the pull-down menu labeled 'Access' in the settings box to select a privacy setting for that widget.

4. Can I set different privacy options for different things that I post to myfantasyband.com?

Yes. You can individually set different privacy options for different things that you post to myfantasyband.com.

For example, you could have your My Fantasy Band® description and location be viewable only by friends, but have the widgets on your profile be viewable by anyone who is logged in to myfantasyband.com.

Or, you could choose different privacy settings for different widgets: for example, your Pandora Stations widget could be viewable only by friends while your Bandcamp Album widget is viewable by anyone who is logged in to myfantasyband.com.

5. What personal information does myfantasyband.com collect about me?

There are 2 types of personal information that are recorded by the myfantasyband.com servers: e-mail addresses and log data. Their uses are described below.

1. E-mail addresses
   
   There are 2 situations in which the site records personal e-mail addresses. The purpose and uses of storing these e-mail addresses are as follows:
   
   
   1. Registration:

      In order to become a member of the site, an individual must first complete the registration form. During registration, a member is required to give an e-mail address. This e-mail address is for use in an automated process by which a member is e-mailed a link to reset their site password in case they have forgotten it.

      Once an individual has registered for the site, e-mails that are received by the individual's myfantasyband.com e-mail Inbox are forwarded to this e-mail address. This forwarding option can be turned off and/or the e-mail address associated with the account can be changed at any time by visiting the Settings page.

      We will never use this e-mail address to send you unsolicited e-mails and we will never sell, rent, or otherwise give a members' e-mail address to a third party.

   2. Invitations:

      When a member invites other people to join the site, they enter the e-mail addresses of the people they would like to invite into the site's invitation system.

      These e-mail addresses are recorded solely for the purpose of improving members' website experience: for example, to prevent people who have already signed up from continuing to receive invitations.

      We will never use these e-mail addresses to send unsolicited e-mails and we will never sell, rent, or otherwise give these e-mail addresses to a third party.

2. Log data
   

   The myfantasyband.com servers automatically record standard web log information ("log data") created by your use of the site. Log data may include information such as your browser type, operating system, referring web page or search engine, pages visited and IP address. Your IP address may contain location data that can be used to determine your exact or approximate location.

   We do not evaluate this information for specific individuals. We use this information to examine our traffic in aggregate, for internal review and to improve the design and content of the site. For example, if the majority of our site's visitors are using the Chrome browser on a Mac OS, we will focus our initial design, development and testing on these platforms.
